For all the current projects we are receiving help from the Bio-inspiration Group of Eric Vittoz at the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
Specifically, for the project concerning the miniaturised active vision, we are supported by William Beaudot and Friedrich Heitger. The navigation project is developed in cooperation with Olivier Landolt and Philippe Venier.
William Beaudot is a specialist in retina modelling expressed in an analogic VLSI form. He has completed a PhD at the Laboratory of Image Processing and Pattern Recognition, INPG, Grenoble.
After obtaining his Ph.D. in psychology, Friedriech Heitger moved into the field of visual psychophysics and from there into computer vision within the ETHZ's Computer Vision Lab. He is currently working in motor miniaturization at the CSEM .
Olivier Landolt is a research and development engineer. His research focuses on analog VLSI circuit design, particularly fuzzy logic and vision-related circuits. He received the MS Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institue of Technology (EPFL). He is a member of the IEEE and the Computer Society.
Philippe Venier has participated in many industrial projects in the VLSI domain, before joining the CSEM.
