MatLab Routines

Several useful MatLab routines for processing the data files are listed here.

• seg2load (ASCII, 3 Ko) To read a SEG-2 file from disk. Data are stored in one matrix.
• seg2disp (ASCII, 2 Ko) To display a SEG-2 file from disk. Image is displayed in one graphic window.
• seg2data (ASCII, 3 Ko) To extract header data of SEG-2 file. Data are stored in one matrix.
• xcompres (ASCII, 1 Ko) To reduce the size of the image along the horizontal direction, preserving the depth information.
• seg2fbg2 (ASCII, 3 Ko) To reduce the clutter by subtracting the mean waveform from each trace .

• seg2read.zip (ZIP, 108 Ko) To read a SEG-2 file from disk and store data into one ASCII file. Each line in the ASCII file will contain one A-scan.
