Data acquired in Cambodia with DETEC-2

These data have been acquired in Thmar Pouk, near the Thai border, by  Jean Daniel Nicoud and  Frederic Guerne during their trip in November 1997.
The test field, prepared six month before by Halo Trust with several deactivated mines, was a 40 m by 40 m square divided in 3 major areas: The first day was devoted to set-up the equipment ( DeTeC-2 prototype), solving its heat problems, and explaining to the deminers how to proceed.
On the second day 22 data files have been acquired after a long work of 7 hours. This took a lot of time because the deminers engaged for this test had to apply the usual savety procedures used in a real minefield. Steps to do the work look like this: On the third and fourth day, 33 complementary data files have been acquired on two different fields.

Collecting data on the field is a slow process !

Two types of data files are available for each measure. Type 'S' contains all the raw data and type 'I' contains the same data reorganized (interpolated) on a one by one cm grid (details about these formats).
